Class Schedule Maker: Build Yours in 5 Minutes (and Print It Clean)
"Class schedule template" searches return plenty — yet the result still doesn't work, because the problem isn't the template. It's where your schedule comes from and where it's going. This piece starts at the registrar's screenshot and ends at a printable A4 page.
Why the registrar screenshot fails
- Vertical scroll capture: the week splits into two or three shots — Monday here, the weekend stranded there.
- Macaron palettes: lovely on screen; indistinguishable grays on a black-and-white printer.
- No margins: edge-to-edge tables lose their first column to the printer's unprintable strip.
- Bitmap, not vector: screenshots blur when scaled; A4 prints come out as mushy small text.
What a usable schedule needs
- One A4 page, one week: portrait if you have many periods, landscape if the days span wide.
- Contrast from structure, not just color: borders and bold survive black-and-white; "today" can be a bold border, not only a fill.
- Real margins ≥10 mm: printers eat the edge — that's physics.
- Export PDF, not a photo: PDF text is vector and stays sharp at any size.
