Anniversary Counter: How Many Days Together (Count Without Losing Track)
"How many days have we been together?" — asked at least twice a year: on the anniversary, and mid-argument. Counting sounds trivial; three different conventions will get you three different numbers.
Three ways to count — pick one and say so

The classic mistake is treating 365 days as one year: in a leap year that's 366, so "365 days" lands before the actual anniversary. Anniversaries align by month and day, not by dividing by 365.
Why anniversaries get missed
It's not carelessness — it's volume and scatter: your anniversary, both sets of parents' birthdays, the first trip, the registry date… spread across notes apps, chat history, and memory. The date isn't the problem; remembering after it passed is.
What a proper counter should do
- Count up AND down: days together (up), days until the next anniversary (down).
- Lunar support built in: set a lunar birthday once; the next solar date computes itself, leap months included.
- Layered reminders: a week out, a day out, and the day itself — not one lone notification.
- Human-readable spans: "2 years, 3 months" beats a bare "821".
